We are done!

Finally we all finished this unforgettable study experience with UMAP scholarship. Now is my time to write what we have done in the last week with DPU, and show you photos ^-^. We did two field trips to Bon Mache and Siam Winery. We enjoyed a lot, especially with the wine tasting. Now we started to like Thai Wine ^-^.

On the Wednesday 9, 2008, we also had two interesting classes with food and baverage. We cooked Thai food, and have it as our lunch. Then we came back to study at DPU Place lobby; to study about Thai baverage. I cannot say that all of them were good, because they were not, hehee ^o^. Some of them have a very strong and bad smell, and I only dared to smell, but not to taste o_o! However, there were some friends who dared to taste it all, woahhh!!! Of cause, after that they were sick and drunk, hehehe ^o^.

Yesterday is the whole day exam. I'm quite sure that no one could get all correct answers, but we will be fine ^-^. After the stress examination day, we had a small fairwell party together at DPU cafe. We did really enjoy our last dinner, and also the music from the DPU students. In the end of the party, we also gave everyone a gift from SPU, so they will remember us and our university. That's all about this wonderful UMAP course. Thank you for following my blog! See you soon!!

No Gain, No Pain!

Hi! Everyone<@___@>
My friends and I have joined in this UMAP's Project for 23 days. We still join this project only three days. I think about everything that I gain from this opportunity. I have got a lot of lectures and real experiences from Hospitality and Tourism Management which is interesting. <=^O^=>

In my deep heart, I don't want this project to finish. I am deeply attached to everyone in UMAP because we use time together in one month. It makes us know more in each other. When we have something, we always share together such as knowledge, fun stories, and food. 555+

It is believed that "No gain, no pain". I think it's absolutely true. I think everyone has to think like me, but nobody wants to talk about that. Although this project will be end, everyone is still friend and think of each other surely.

Four more days to go!!

I have been with UMAP group for three weeks and now I have four more days to go.
I can surely say that we have really good time and experiences between international cultures.
Even I am a Thai person, but there are many things that I do not understand well.
In this couse, I have studied more about Thai or our culture and social systems.

The best way to understand our culture is one step away then look at them as one foreigner.

After studying in many classes, I feel that I will be more Thai.

Thanks all the teachers heaps and heaps.

Photos!!

Sorry that I have only 3photos to show you today. All photos are from the first day at DPU. As you can see; we really had a big lunch ^o^. I also took a photo of Internaional Affair Office; we have lunch in front of this office everyday. I will try to upload more photos later, see ya!

Yesterday we had class from 8.30- 11.30 a.m. in Revanue management for the hotel: a marketing approach by Asst. Prof. Montakan Lancaster.
We will study with students International college of DPU.
It was good news that we study with them because we met them on our first day at lunch.
We have a funny story with one student, Tony.
I will show his picture to you later.
He misunderstood Snowy and me.
He thought Snowy was a Ugandan from Uganda. And he understood that I was from Korea and I am a Korean girl.
The last word that we heard from him is “oh ! coolness we got a South African friend”.
That made everyone laugh heartily.
So, next time we have to pretend that we are girl from Uganda and Korea because we don’t want to make him disappointed.

We went to the Conrad Hotel Bangkok before yesterday.
We left at 7.30 hours from DPU Place with three teachers.
There was some traffic. We arrived at Conrad Hotel Bangkok at 9.00 a.m.
The first thing we saw in there was the luxury, and we thought this hotel was very different from other hotels.
We didn’t know the reason why, but we felt it from everything around us.
After that we had a presentation of the Hotel, and we got to meet the smart Human Resource Management, Ms. Lourdes H. Yuwanasiri.
She explained to about Labor relations and productivity management.
And then we went to all the facilities and room of the Hotel. We were lucky to visit Conrad. We would like to say thank you UMAP and DPU for giving us this opportunity.
That’s all !!!! Have a nice day.

We arrived at DPU Place(Dhurakit Pundit University Place).
Let me show you about the room that we will stay in here for two weeks.
I think it will be luxury because someone told me before.
DPU have many facilities for all students, but we have to use the student card to get into every facility. We will make student cards after lunch. Mr. Frank will take us there.
Oh! I didn’t introduce him to everyone. He is an International Affairs Officer at DPU, and he will take care us until we are finish with this course.
Many people in this course got a little bit sick.
Maybe we went shopping too much, or it is the university change.
It is not a seasonal change.
I wish everyone will be get well soon.
